Mr. Regan joined Shinault Baker & Company in 2008 following graduation and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2012. He has four years of public accounting experience and audit experience with governmental, non-profit, private and compliance audits, as well as tax engagements. He is presently responsible for governmental and special district audits, non-profit audits, and tax and compilation engagements. Mr. Regan is is always looking out for the best interest of clients and the Firm. Mr. Regan enjoys spending his time outside of work with his family and friends.

Experience and Background
Marcela Farfan began her career in accounting over ten years ago, and she was hired at Shinault Baker & Company in February 2007. She is presently responsible for governmental and special district audits, nonprofit audits, financial audits, and tax and compilation engagements. Mrs. Farfan earned her CPA license in 2011 and is currently pursuing her Masters of Science degree in Taxation. Additionally, Marcela is billingual in Spanish. Outside of work, you will find her spending time with her family, trying new recipes or traveling.

 

 

Daniel Gutierrez, CPA

Experience and Background
Mr. Gutierrez served in the United States Army from 2003-06. During his service, he completed a tour of duty in Iraq. Mr. Gutierrez was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his services as an FST team leader with the 217th FI DET under the 18th Airborne Corps. during Operation Iraqi Freedom III. Upon completion of his military service, he attended and graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Bakersfield.  While attending the University, Mr. Gutierrez received recognition as the Outstanding Student in Accounting for 2008-2009 and has honors affiliations with Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Chi. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 2012 and is currently pursuing his Masters of Science degree in Taxation. 
 
Mr. Gutierrez joined Shinault Baker & Company in the fall of 2013. Over his four years experience in public accounting, he has developed interests and expertise in oil and gas, as well as in agricultural accounting. He also specializes in business taxation and general accounting with various business entities. Mr. Gutierrez enjoys assisting business owners in growing and developing their businesses and allowing them to thrive in any economic environment.
 

 

Patrice Shinault

Patrice Shinault began her career in accounting over 35 years ago, shortly before graduating from California State University of Bakersfield in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After 20 years of experience as a senior accountant with Shinault Baker & Company, Mrs. Shinault has found her strengths to lie in financial analysis and cost accounting. Always hungry to expand her areas of expertise, Mrs. Shinault has vast experience in telecommunications, agricultural and construction industries. While loyal to her role within the company, Mrs. Shinault is also devoted to volunteering in our community; providing meals for the homeless, the ALS walk and the American Cancer Society are amongst her prioritized causes.

 

 

 

 

Leanna Weiner

Experience and Background
Leanna Weiner has dedicated over 16 years to the accounting field with 12 of them being with Shinault Baker & Company. Mrs. Weiner is a graduate of California State University of Bakersfield with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She specializes in all aspects of payroll, as well as, offering our clients support and training with QuickBooks. Her helpful attitude and outgoing personality reassures why she has been such great addition to the team. Mrs. Weiner is an active volunteer at her childrenÂ’s school and church. Spending time with family and friends is something she enjoys on her free time as well as reading.
